General Data Protection Regulations
(GDPR) The General Protection Regulation comes into effect on 25th May 2018.
What data do we process?
Pure H2O Window Cleaning collects and processes data from existing customers and those enquiring about our services. All data is collected for the purpose of providing cleaning services to its customers, whether that being Commercial or Domestic/Residential. Pure H2O Window Cleaning is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to meeting its data protection obligations. Such data includes:
- name, address and contact details, including telephone number and email address
Pure H2O Window Cleaning may collect data in a few ways including in person, over the phone, by email and through our online contact form. Data is stored in a range of different places, within our round tracking software, email system and finance system where applicable.
Who has access to data?
Your information is for internal use only. We will not share your data with any third parties.
How do we protect your data?
Your data is always held securely and access to customer information is strictly controlled. Our website is SSL Certified, therefore all incoming and outgoing information is encrypted and no customer data is stored online. Office computers are password protected and all paper records stored in a locked cabinet. When disposing of paper records, we either shred the documents or burn them.
How long do we keep your data?
When you submit your data to Pure H2O Window Cleaning, we store your details for a period of 6 months whilst we manage your enquiry. If you do not proceed with our services, your data is destroyed after 6 months. If you are an existing customer and we continue to provide our services to you, your information will remain in our systems. If at any point you cease to use our services and would like us to delete your information, please contact us to request this and we will arrange for your data to be deleted or destroyed. Please note that Pure H2O Window Cleaning cannot delete customer invoices for a period of seven years.
Access to Data – Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold on you, to change incorrect or incomplete data, to delete or stop processing your data. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact Steve Coyte using the contact form
